If you happen to visit the mountains during the tea-picking season, you'll be greeted by a sea of lush greenery, with Bai Ji Guan standing out among the rest. Its presence is marked by a gentle and radiant tender yellow color.

Bai Ji Guan is a small-leaved shrub, and its young leaves are delicate and thin. As a result, it is processed with a light fermentation, avoiding excessive oxidation and the development of strong fruity fragrances. During the roasting process, in order to preserve its unique characteristics, a gentle to medium heat is applied, ensuring that it retains its inherent qualities without being overwhelmed by excessive roasting.

Being one of the four famous tea bushes, what does Bai Ji Guan offer in terms of taste? What are its characteristic flavors?

Bai Ji Guan is distinguished by its "clear and sweet corn silk flavor" and a "clean and herbal medicinal aroma."

Let me explain further. We often say that cinnamon has a cinnamon bark fragrance, Buddha's hand citron has a pear-like flavor, Osmanthus has a floral fragrance, and Benzoin has a resinous aroma.

However, Bai Ji Guan is quite unique. Both the aroma of the dry leaves and the fragrance of the brewed tea carry a clear and sweet corn silk scent. The taste is characterized by a combination of a herbal bitterness and a sweet undertone that is fresh, refreshing, and full-bodied.
